A Birthday
Celebration
Welcome.  I put together some pictures from our family gathering in september 2001.  The occasion was to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday and it was held at my Aunt Mary and Uncle Dan's house in West Seneca, New York.  Everyone couldn't be there but my Aunt Judy and Uncle Paul were up from Bowie, Maryland and it is always great to see them, as well as the rest of the families from Buffalo and Syracuse.

There was so much wonderful food and company, I felt truly happy to be there.  Living as far away as I do, being at this occasion and spending time with my family filled me with joy and appreciation.  I also got a very big surprise that day when I looked out the window while eating my meal and saw my husband standing outside the window waving.  He had just flown in from Belgium and taken a taxi to the party to be with us.  It was a welcome face as I had not seen him for almost two weeks at that time!  It was a wonderful surprise and I will never forget it.

I think Grandma had a good time too, because at the end of the party she pulled out the stops and put on a show for everyone!  Enjoy the pictures.  Maria
I traveled into town a day early with my mom, sam, and my three nieces, Kaleigh, Marina, and Aubrey.  We stayed at Grandma's and really had a great time.

Here's a collage.
